Nature is a b*tch. There are no special training courses for canines in the area of Ninja snake maneuvers. Unfortunately, the mongoose is the only furry animal with the born talent to handle snakes.
Dogs will never adapt, because they have the simple curiosity and persistence of a child, which is one of the main reasons we love them.
If the snake threat is that bad, take your animals out of harms way by either moving or finding a barrier that the snakes cannot penetrate.
