What are the best big snakes to keep?

I have kept all kinds of snakes over the years, kings, milks, corns, ratsnakes, and ball pythons. Now I'm looking for a bigger snake. Nothing too large though. Which big snakes have the best temperments?

Well it depends on how big you are willing to care for?
I'm guessing you want a medium sized snake so here are a few

Red tail boas can get up to 10ft long they are pretty docile but very strong and can weigh around 50lbs when full grown. and will eventually need it's own room or custom built enclosure.

Rainbow boas are very pretty getting up to 6-7ft. but they require a higher humidity that some find hard to maintain.

Carpet pythons are some of the worlds most beautiful snakes (at least I think so) adult size being 6-8ft. my favorite would have to be the Jungle carpet python because they are beautiful!
