There is a large brown and green snake in my barn and im afraid it will hurt my show steer, what do I do?
It is a very long and large snake. I own show animals for my high school and we pay large amounts of money for these animals and im afraid that snake may injure them, what should I do?

First.Where do you live.Do a search on snakes for your state.Tell us and we will find a site for you.You need to identify the snake.
Second.Do not approach or attempt to remove it without knowing what kind of snake it is.This is best for you and the snake.
Third. It more than likely will not bite your animals.Snakes are used to being around animals and have other ways to defend/get away from them.
Fourth. It is there providing free, non toxic pest control.Imagine that.
Fifth. If you really want it removed, call your local animal control.
Sixth.Do not kill it .Many areas have strict laws prohibiting the killing of non venomous snakes. It amounts to animal cruelty.Being an animal lover that you are,how can you be cruel to any other animal.
