Information on Rough Green Snakes?
Hi,
I am considering getting (purchasing) a roug green snake as a pet. I would appreciate any information, like, what and how often they eat, how big the tank/cage should be, and where I can get them. I would really appreciate information from snake owners, especially past and present owners of this breed of snake.
Thanks

The beautiful rough green snake is a gentle snake with a pleasant disposition. Called “rough” because their scales stand out at a slight angle, these snakes are agile and skilled climbers. They frequently climb bushes, vines and small trees and are rarely on the ground. Capable of catching prey in the air, they hunt for food during the day and sleep at night. Rough green snakes are excellent swimmers, often using the water to escape predators. They lay four to twelve very elongated, sticky eggs under a flat stone or log. The young snakes are a grayish or pale green at first, eventually developing their brilliant, iridescent colors.
